The plant realized is a grid-connected type, destinated to work in parallel to the internal electric net and therefore to the national electric net. The power put in is of 148.5kWp and provides energy to cover the 15% of the annual Mollfam electricity requirements.
The excess energy produced is fed into the national grid.
The roof surface of the plant, made of asbestos cement, has been subject to remediation and refurbishment using sandwich insulation panels with a thickness of 200mm, with the use of PV modules in a configuration of total architectural integration. This is in order to obtain the maximum incentive rate including the additional 5% premium due to the asbestos remediation.
